I hope that you enjoyed your holidays! I have missed those of you that took my last round of classes and I look forward to seeing some new faces this time around. I have a lot of exciting stuff planned and to have a good turn out. With the holidays settling down, now is the perfect time to get to know your camera better. Here is information on how I can help you take your “snapshots” and turn them into timeless family treasures!
Photoshop 101 – EVERYTHING A PHOTOGRAPHER NEEDS TO KNOW TO GET STARTED WITH PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS
Monday 6-8 pm
- Class with start January 11, 2010 – February 15, 2010
- You will be given hand-outs as well as a computer to follow along with me as I instruct from a projection screen in class.
- Some basic things we will cover: actions, layers, retouching (the proper way!), switching heads, color changing, tonal adjustments, merging images…and much more!
- We will work in RAW and JPEG
RAW WORKSHOP – UNLOCK THE HIDDEN POTENTIAL OF YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA
Tuesday January 12, 2010
- This 2 hour workshop will instruct photographers in how to create their own RAW workflow. You will never shoot JPEG again!

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA
Thursday 6-8 pm
-Classes start January 14, 2010 - February 18, 2010
- Just because you own a nice camera doesn’t make your a photographer. You have the creativity, now learn the skills.
- Learn to unlock your cameras true potential.
- Understand ISO, shutter speed, aperture, depth-of-field, lenses and equipment, color temperature, how to avoid “snapshots”, photo editing, photo archive…plus a ton of other essentials.
-We will have a lot of hands on training mixed with lectures.
- Come prepared with questions for the end-of-class question-and-answer-sessions.
Classes will run for 6 weeks.
RAW workshop is 1-day-only
PRICING
1 class – $150
2 classes – $250 ($50 discount for both classes)
Raw Workshop – $35 (Free to all former students who participated in the Springs assignment)
